Sometimes seeking answers is futile.
What if some of the best companies in human potential haven’t been invented yet because the core IP is still living inside the experts who intuited it?
That’s a question that gets me pretty jazzed.
If you’re a fan of Rilke, I often sit with his profound wisdom of “live the questions now.”
Across years and decades, the questions change, of course. They become enriched when the intersections of your process, purpose, and passion start to converge. And the questions tend to be most interesting for designing a system or venture when they focus on the 'who'.
When I work with experts and founders with 20+ years of experience, their intersections begin to converge with a connected clarity. When we get to a root question, natural curiosity begins to dissipate any stress around the 'how' and 'what' they're building.
And then it’s possible to catch a glimpse of how they’re connecting dots and synthesizing thinking – but perhaps missing that one note. 🎵

Here’s the original quote:
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
What’s a recurring question you’re living in fully right now?
